The department was established with an objective of providing quality education in the convocational area of science and growing in to a centre of teaching and research with an aim to achieve prominent position in the academic map of Samastipur. The department offers U.G. level advance courses in science. The Department offers major specialized course in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. The students are monitored and evaluated by regular class tests, seminars, mid and end-semester examinations.
